Each year as part of the hardwood floor preventative maintenance, floors are either screened and recoated; or the entire floor is drum sanded removing all court marking and decorative logos and artwork; repainted and refinished. Typically, a screen and coat takes a day to complete with a 5-day cure time. The screen and coat is done annually. Drum Sanding and finishing is done approximately every 10 years

Initial Site Inspection
Customer to provide: Graphics, Layouts, Fonts, Color Selection
Prepare & Submit Quotes
Drum Sand
Additional Work: repairs, Logos, Graphics
Quotation Approval
Customer to issue quote approval and purchasing directives for sanding, painting & finishing.
Pre-Service Review
Customer reviews & approves: Layouts, colors, graphics, etc. Set date ranges for services.
Schedule Work
Confirm dates
Site Preparation
Customer to confirm electrician, air handling, trash disposal, site closure, final cleaning and entry and access.
Drum Sanding
Staining
Sealing
Painting
Court lines, Graphics and logos allow extra time
Finishing
Cure Time
Allow days for finish to cure, based upon type of finish and environmental conditions.
Artwork Guide:
The customer is sked to provide logos and artwork in a vectored format. The images should not be pixelated. Pixelated refers to an image that appears in small square blocks (pixels).
Layout:
A layout will be prepared using the artwork to represent how the floor will be finished. Customers will have the opportunity to review and approve layouts, and make modifications.

Completed Design
To achieve a translucent style, the palm trees were stained on the floor rather than using an opaque paint.
